I caught so much GRIEF yesterday about my boys losing. I am still sad today.

I am wishing spring break was around the corner instead of 3 months away!!! Ughhhhhh
I was digging up photos last night. I took some this weekend with Auntie and Tommy after the funeral. I thought I'd share....The others are OLD!!!!!!

SHe is my mom's sister. Tommy is the forever bachelor. It's a shame too cause he has such a good heart! He's depriving a gal out there. = ( He's like a big brother to me. Sweet as can be...we just don't have any chemistry.

I so miss my groupie days. God I had fun from 19-26. I enjoyed life and didn't have a care in the world except passing Calculus. Anybody recognize these guys????
These were taken in Biloxi...this group opened for Metallica......I bet Mick can figure it out.
Seeing these, I know how desperately I need to lose weight. Can someone just lock me up and feed me once a week????? Let me know.

Girl, you must be psychic! Yesterday I had a South Beach meal bar instead of paying for lunch. I figured I'd save $5 - $7 at least that could go into "the fund".

I'm telling ya - South Beach is the way to go. You get wine, you get meat, you get veggies (certain ones). And once you reduce your sugar intake, it is amazing how well you feel. No kidding on that one.

I'm gonna dig through the porcelain blanks I have now and see if I can decorate some and sell them, too. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey! Don't feel so blue. They'll use this defeat to come back and be champs next season.

Losing weight is portion control. Don't starve or punish yourself. Moderate portions of the correct combination will work wonders. Team up with a buddy for support. and WALK!!!!! Even a little bit each day helps. D :)

Rach- good job on the South beach...I tried one of their wraps and I wasn't impressed. I'm lucky in a school cafe I guess, 2.75 a meal with tea. Some days are better than others.

FF- I'm more bummed for my city and the people who have waited 40 years for this!!!!
I need an exercise buddy desperately...although I have a tread mill I bought last year. Wanna talk me into using it????

You have me with the group, to be honest I get mixed up with all the heavy metal groups.
I remember Metallica touring with Ozzy Osbourne once as a double header.
If you want to lose weight go for it, don't try to do too much at once (pound per week is easy with lifestyle changes). I'm sure all your blog friends will support you and give loads of advice.
Whatever your a pretty lady.

Thanks for visiting my blog recently. As for the band, is it poison? or Skid Row? I'm not too good at some of the older rock bands though I liked some of them as the 80's were my high school years too.
You asked what was my breaking point? That's a hard one. Prob. started about 2 years before I actually started, well I started the yo yo diets up and down 20 lbs but I saw a photo of me on vacation and couldn't believe it was me. Also, some marital troubles and him specifically addressing my weight after years of listening to me bitch about it. The other thing is my hubby getting so active in biking and doing triathalons I was tired of living on the sidelines and just existing and not really living. I really want to become a more active, healthy and thinner person. I have become more active the wt thing is a complicated one and will take a lot longer to lose than I thought. Good luck to you on your journey.

No idea who that band is.

You left a comment on my blog saying there was a cute fireman on the last season of TBL. That wasn't Eric was it? He reminded me of Fred Flintstone lol
I thought Marty and bobby were really cute :o)

If you find someone to lock you away - please - invite me!! :)
I just need someone to cook for me and tell me what to eat and when - life would be so much easier!

Bands that might have opened for Metallica would be Ratt, Poison, Anthrax, Alice In Chains, Stryper, Night Ranger, Warrant, and probably a ton of other less known bands.

If you google Metallica, you will probably find some major fan websites and they will have a listing of the tours and what bands were the opening acts. They may even have dates so that you can find notes about the concert you saw. YES has a website just for concert memories, and it is pretty cool to connect with other people who were at the same concert. I saw Metallica in the early 1990s, and I don't remember who opened for them, I think it was Verve or some other band that had a hit single out at the time.
