This is my baby Whisper. I think she's purty! She is the loner of the three...but Destiny and Harmony have been together for 8 yrs now..Whisper has beeen with us almost 2yrs. Harmony is very territorial, and like to back this baby into a corner.

Ya'll I am scratching like I have fleas! SCREAM and SCREAM again. It's just a red bumpy flare up on both of my arms. I just bathed in some Hibiclens (Doc approved bacterial wash--surgeons use it before they operate) My aunt gave me some Lanacane after school, it had a soothing effect. No, I didn;t get anything working in the yard (No green thumb here). A co-worker suggested maybe I ate something, another siad maybe it was stress. Good lord, I feel like I have hives or something. It feels bumpier than it looks) Another co worker said take an oatmeal bath.

WHAT CAN I DO????

Try the oatmeal lotion. It works for Brian & I really well. How fast did it appear? When did it appear - like after you did/ate what? Is it spreading?

You might want to take a benedryl, too. Helps with itching.

Does your health plan have a help line??? with a Nurse Practitioner on line? Ask them. They can let you know what it could be so you can decide if it's something you can self treat or need a Dr. for.

Try not to scratch! (Easier said than done, I know!)

D :)

Sorry you're having a bad day, I'll have to send an e'hug.

The rash sounds to me like an allergic reaction. Usually caused by someting you have eaten (rasberries effect me in this way)or come into contact with (soap powders are sometimes a cause, have you changed).
You can get anti-allergy tablets and they soon clear it up, you need to find what is causing it though.

yes, take the benedryl. It should help a lot! Wee One has severe skin allergies to wheat germ, dairy, and things outdoors. I SWEAR by cortisone and benedryl. He also has a potent RXointment I put on him BEFORE he encounters the allergens for prevention then afterwards when his flare up is the worse BUT the benedryl helps A LOT!

Why do parents do this kind of thing? If my kid gets into trouble at school, Im pretty positive he deserves it because he can be a huge brat.....only once did I think a teacher was ''picking' on my son, I met with her after school and told her my feelings AND the PROOF I had of her singling out my boy and another child. She straightened up immediately. But,I had proof and I was not looking to argue. I was looking to let her know I was aware of the situation. It was a 5 minute meeting with no arguing or raised voices. SOmetimes I think parents expect teachers too much from teachers, they are humans too. And, they have a hard job, teaching is not an easy profession by any means. My mother was a teacher, a good one but she had her 'trying' students too.

Whisper is gorgeous!!! I read over at FF you were going to trim/shave her, why? Ive been brushing Marvin and his coat isnt shedding as much, his bellly hair is short, it may have been shaved once..not sure.

hang in there, I hope the day gets better for you.

Oh dear...what a crappy day... I was going to suggest cortisone cream also...
But dr app would be advisable.
I am allergic to cat hair. So Cats are not my fav creature unfortunately. But i do understand the love people have for thier furballs. My dad had two persians and I used to battle to go and visit him as my allergies would flare up in about 10 mins!!
Both his cats passed away within 6 weeks of each other (brothers) he loved them very much.

Bit hard to say what it is without seeing it, but I would try the cortisone cream and try to keep your skin cool. If it's really itching put some ice packs on them

Yea i'd say hives or little mites.
Did you try anti-hystimines? If its a reaction, that'll fix it :o)

Other than that, maybe you have scabies..eewwww lol
