I know it hurts but always do what is best for your mom. If you can't be there in person, just make sure she knows your heart is there with her.

You poor thing... you must be so frustrated. I know it's hard, but your mom is probably right. Still, she knows that you want to be there, and that's important. You'll be able to see her soon.
