I'd like to say a while, just to be healthy and sure of what I wanted, but . . .
I was fresh out of a 3 yr relationship when I met James. I told him I didn't want to get involved, but something in my heart said I was ready. I knew within a couple of weeks I would marry James.
My best friend L. had her heart shattered after a long and serious relationship. She swore off men for 1 year exactly then dated a short while and met her perfect man. Now, I on the other hand, if hubby broke my heart, Id waller in my pity for about a week, then get a social life that Paris Hilton would be jealous of....not sure if Id be happy but thats what I would do(after taking his ass to court and getting over HALF of all his money).
We are all different, just follow your heart, make sure you listen to it VERY carefully too...
