Hello All

It has been quite busy in my world. Today I stayed home sick. My tummy gave me fits afte dinner yesterday. So I saw it best to stay home. I also skipped my night class Thursday. Hubby had a conference to speak at today in North Alabama. So I have had he house to myself...which has been kinda soothing. OMG is it an adjustment from not having a roommate for ten years and then one you are supposed to share everything with~ it seems much easier for him.

I went and bought the Sex and the City movie when it was put on shelves Tuesday. I really loved those girls. Their "issues" were real life and easy to relate too.

I am watching Amy Wives now...but it's just a runner up. The characters are real but not as loveable.

Has anyone seen any great movies lately? I wanna curl up with a few this weekend, Hubby and I wee going to see the new Nicholas Sparks book to movie with Richard Gere this weekend...

Sorry that I have been away for SOOO long...I am back to work now...and should have a few more posts these days.

My kids this year are really LOW academically, which concerns me...Last year my kids were the highest in the sixth grade! Wahoooo we beat out 2 other teams.

Married life has its challenges....mostly because I haven't had a live in in ten years....huge difference for me.

Nothing happening exciting with me....I have another college course that starts this Thursday night for me. Ughhhh. It's a Psychology course, which I think I will like. I know the teacher. I am wanting it to be on another night...I am so damn tired by Thurdsday, I wanna go home and fall into bed.

OK..I will try to make it around to a few blog friends in the next couple of days.

Hope all is well in your world.

Busy Busy Busy Yes, I am.

College --a Educational Research class is killing me. Although the Professor is quite the cutie! That helps when you are stuck in a 6 hour course.....and he knows the hubby...and he may be someone I want to work for in the next year...

Less than a month and I am back at work. YIKES

I have an obsession with several of the purses in the Sex & the City movie. I want one--a real CHANEL. I've been shopping on line. I joined Bag Borrow...the site mentioned in the movie...Can I say I am in love with the idea but not with their prices. I'd rather buy a new one...yes, I am talking several thousand...but it would be mine *all mine**

Good news for now for my mom. Her doc did a CT scan and found a suspicious spot on her right lung. We have been praying feverishly and he told her today...there is nothing to worry about right now, go back and see him in 3 months. They had given her basically 2 ideas:
1. It is lung cancer
2. it is scar tissue starting to form after her breast cancer surgery
Thank you Jesus.. I am on my hands and knees right now thanking him we did not here the word cancer again...keep her in your prayers.

Sorry to my regular blog buddies, I have been busy and neglecting all of you. I just need some sporadic time to sleep, shop, pray and work on college course work. Besides, I am still adjusting to having another person in the house 24/7. It's been a learning experience..and a patience pusher. I love him though! We are coming up on 3 months July 12....

Peace to you and yours!

mommy

Hi
I feel obligated to blog...however the last few weeks have not been full of free time. Today was really busy for me. My new step daughters are here with us. We spent the day together...We had pizza for lunch, went to the mall, drove over to my aunt's house to say hellO. We went to see daddy at work....they are at the neighborhood swimming pool right now with daddy. I'm taking a quiet break and need to get to work on college classwork. As I have classes Wed and Thursday....this summer course work is killing me. I want quiet time, sleeping in late and lots and LOTS of money.

We did get a new flat screen tv for the bedroom. We have a 46inch in the living room. So we boight a 40 inch for the master bedroom. We have it hooked up but we need a new HD reciever for the bedrom from Direct TV.

How in the hell is my summer 1/2 OVER ????????

Wish me calm tranquility~ and the ability NOT to shop. I have soooo much to pay for still. I have run wild for the last few months and my credit cards are paying for it and my interest rates are sharing a rapid heart beat as they accrue interest.

Much love

?surprised?

what are your thoughts on oral sex?

Tuesday, June 03, 2008

Sorry ya'll. I have had the last 2 days off no work or college classes...I have been a homebody and lazy as hell. I need downtime and lots of love from kitty cats~

Work was the worst two months I have had. I have to change schools this next school year. I put in for a transfer 2 days late and my principal refused to sign it. I'll have to train a new teacher in the fall and pray that *H* actually comes back.....I just don't even want to think about it.

Married life has it's ups and downs. I am having the hardest time simply because I am not accustomed to having a roommate. It's the little things that I have a rough time with....like finding a sticky remote control, extra dishes, the inability to clean a stove after he cooked.

On the other hand, the ability to wake up next to the man I LOVE, the sweet notes he leaves around the house just because and eventually the few hundred dolars of savings I'll get each month. I am still paying wedding bills, his ring and we're splitting our new bedroom set..but still owe 3000 grand on it. I deserve a pay raise damn it. Teachers are not paid enough to deal with what we do...............

I am addicted to the tanning bed....Its the first year in my life I have ever been in one. I like looking tan!!!!!!! I am geting lots of compliments which is very cool.

This is a story about a couple who had been happily married for years. The only friction in their marriage was the husband's habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke.

The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air. Every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping them off because it was making her sick. He told her he couldn't stop and that it was perfectly natural.

She told him to see a doctor. She was concerned that one day he would blow his guts out. The years went by and he continued to rip them out!

Then one Thanksgiving morning as she was preparing the turkey for dinner and he was upstairs sound asleep, she looked at the bowl where she had put the turkey innards and neck, gizzard, liver and all the spare parts and a malicious thought came to her. She took the bowl and went upstairs where her husband was sound asleep and, gently pulling back the bed covers, she pulled back the elastic waistband of his underpants and emptied the bowl of turkey guts into his shorts.

Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic footsteps as he ran into the bathroom. The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good.

About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face.

She bit her lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, "Honey, you were right. All these years you have warned me and I didn't listen to you. "What do you mean?" asked his wife.

"Well, you always told me that one day I would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened. But by the grace of God, some Vaseline, and these two fingers, I think I got most of them back in.

This is me today. I have a headache...I am sleep deprived and my students are crazy as hell today. We have 15 more days together. I am ready and they are even more ready.
I need some down time. I need some quiet time. I need 8 solid hours of sleep. We got our bedroom set which we are both pleased with...but the 1800 mattress is too soft for both of us. We went to the furniture store yesterday and he said he'd swap it. It's got a latex memory foam that fits to your body....but it's just too soft for long term sleep.
I have lost a co worker due to violence in her home. She will not be back this year. I am sorry to say and I doubt she'll be back next year.
Send me calm soothing vibes with another paycheck.
Many Thanks.
Oh..and hell NO I would not vote for ..."HALF HONKEY---ALL DONKEY" O'bama.

A car gets a flat on the interstate one day. The BLONDE driver eases it over onto the shoulder of the road, carefully steps out of the car and opens the trunk. She takes out two cardboard men, unfolds them, and stands them at the rear of the vehicle, facing oncoming traffic.

The lifelike cardboard men are in trench coats, exposing their nude bodies and private parts to approaching drivers. Not surprisingly, the traffic becomes snarled and backed up.

It isn't very long before a police car arrives. The officer, clearly
enraged, approaches the BLONDE of the disabled vehicle, yelling, "What's going on here?"

"My car broke down officer" says the woman calmly. "Well, what the hell are these obscene cardboard pictures doing here by the road?" he asks.

"Helloooooooo!!!" says the BLONDE "Those are my emergency

THANK GOD it is payday!
I spent lots of money in the last few months and I will be paying on it for the next few months! SCREAM

I'm sleepy this morning. I was up late last night on-line doing stuff. I had a school meeting for parents that I had to attend. My house in in TOTAL disarray and I am beginning to suffer.

Although our new bedroom set and mattress set was delivered on Monday. It sleeps well and the furniture is HUGE. I feel like I need a step ladder to get out of the bed.

I was sick last week with sinus stuff. I should have stock with Kleenex now. I can't seem to clear my head.

Any thoughts on O'Bamas minister????? Hubby and I got into a debate last night. We will NEVER agree on politics.

Happy day to you all.

My entrance. I was so nervous! I think I even scared my dad. I told him he better be ready to catch me if I fall.

First Presbyterian really is a beautiful church....I like all aspects but one. The carpet is hideous!

One pic ~

We are home.

I am exhausted. The next 3 weeks will be crazy as in he is moving in with me.
I have 2 weeks left to do do projects for Grad school.

I have thank you notes to write.

I need sleep.

The wedding went off with out a hitch...I think.
My kids were great at the ceremony.

The florist was wonderful. I would use her and promote her to anyone!

I was disappointed in the food at the Marriott.

Pictures maybe this week. Let me see how I get the house in some type of order and some notes mailed and a project completed.

Much love.

It's 3:14 a.m.
I just hung up with my first true love. He and I have been in each others lives for 20 years this summer. We had an electric connection. He walked up to me at a concert at University of New Orleans and just kissed me. He didn't say hello, he just kissed me. We fell head over heels in love and will take that love with us to our graves.
He married about 9 years ago. He's content and has a beautiful daughter now.
Well, with my big day approaching we spent a few hours on the phone tonight. He is genuinely happy for me. Of course several of our friends are standing in the wedding. I sensed he felt a bit left out. He could be the life of the party. He has a great personality and blends well with all kinds of people.
I feel a bit of relief after talking to him. I have such fond memories of our years, our friends and the lust for life we shared. I am entering a new chapter in my life and have a real issue with change. It is typically something that I dread, I fight it and can be afraid of it.
Instead, he offers me new hope, a new segment of my life that should be embraced and cherished. He gives me his love, approval and best wishes.
I just needed to send God a thank you for the love he has sent me. I feel blessed.

Yes, I am nervous. I am nervous about the actually ceremony not the marriage...OK well, I haven't had a roommate in over a decade. I am a bit reluctant to give up all of my space. I'm a brat.

I am thrilled to be seeing all of my bridesmaids. You must realize I haven't seen 2 of them in 8-10 years. We talk of course, but one is in Texas and the other Florida. I wish we were able to spend more time together than we are actually going to. *frown*

I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I have so MUCH going on EXCEPT for sleep. I'm a cranky lady without sleep. MEOW MEOW

Much Love.....

10 days and I will be married!

OK...one of my best friends here she is singing a solo at the wed...We went to the church last night after work and met with the organist. We met him in the choir loft and he played me several songs for the prelude and or actual ceremony. The Church is large and the organ is renowned for it's ability and intensity. He played me the traditional wedding march and I thought my heart would JUMP out of my chest. Ya"ll hear me arranging things and stressing out...but not until yesterday did I feel like it was really happening. Geezeeeeee.

On a *happy* note~

R gave me red and white flowers last night when I got home(these are the colors of the wedding flowers). They are lovely. He was sweet.

This morning about an hour after I got to work...my department head had flowers delivered to work. They are a lovely mix of bright cheerful colors.

I go to my hairdresser this afternoon right after work...we have a brief faculty meeting to have our next year contracts passed out...

12 Days

Hello all~
I am feeling a bit more relaxed today. I know ODD for a Monday morning. I don't have any after school meeting today. AMEN.
I have a couple of places to go after work. But I don't feel a tremendous amount of pressure. THANK GOD!!!!!!

I need to run to my pastry shop. I bought some cookie cutters and she said she would make some cookies for my favor table. = ) I have tin box mints with our names and dates on them. I am thinking of ordering some pralines from N'Awlins too. I am also thinking of flower seeds in packages they can plant and watch grow and I bought baggies guests can use to pick up what they like.... The bags have a Fleur De Lis and our names and date. Other small quaint ideas??? or feedback on these?

We ordered the bedroom set like 3-4 weeks ago and I am so hoping it would come in this week. Send the shipping people positive energy.

"Legend The English translation of "fleur-de-lis" (sometimes spelled "fleur-de-lys") is "flower of the lily." This symbol, depicting a stylized lily or lotus flower, has many meanings. Traditionally, it has been used to represent French royalty, and in that sense it is said to signify perfection, light, and life."
