Are you ready to give up your CHOCOLATE?

Question: what if Hershey went from using cocoa butters in their chocolate to using vegetable fats and artificial sweeteners?
That's what might happen. They're asking the Food and Drug Administration to change the standards in which chocolate is made and classified, to "modernize" the making of chocolate. Hershey isn't the only company asking the question, it's everyone.
This is sacrilege! We all know that chocolate, even when its high in fat and calories, has a lot of health benefits too. And if people want to have diet chocolate or a chocolate substitute, there are plenty of products already on the market. Changing the taste of Hershey chocolate would be like changing America, damn it!

This plot was hatched by the Tri-Lateral Commission and is part of their scheme to create a One-World Government.

I think they should keep the chocolate the way it is, but also add a "Mockolate" alternative. I agree that chocolate is good for us dispite the high fat content. It's one of the only foods we can get zinc from. That's my excuse each time i buy it! lol
The food people just think we need to eat everything low fat to be healthier, And perhaps they feel the need to make those choices for us?
Heaven help the idiot who gets between a woman with PMS and decent chocolate!! lol

Decent chocolate. What America needs more of.

I can't use the site with the iMac, not compatible, grrrrrr. You'd think after ump-teen some odd years of being around, these smart ass techies would have figured out how to have everything work with the Apple product. Now really, how effing smart can they be??? Hmmmm???

Ahem, back to topic. I am not usually a fan of darker chocolate, but it's more the truer chocolate, better for you. Hershey's, Nestle, etc. use a lot of sugars in their creation of chocolate. The cheaper brands, like the foil wrapped stuff at the holidays, tastes like plastic most of the time.

I believe across the board, chocolate should taste like chocolate. The basic should be standard. It shouldn't be messed with!

Sugarfree chocolate has come a LONG way from being Exlax, but it still acts like it! The taste is off, too. So there could be overall improvements.

That's my bit. D :)
