French Quarter evening...

Yesterday I was out shopping for a new comforter. As I got in my car to leave the mall, "The Dance" by Garth Brooks came on. I started crying in my car. It is so perfect to how I feel about John. He is the love of my life, but I left him to pursue a career. Well, he got tired of waiting and got married. We still talk and all I can say "I could have missed the pain, but i'd had to miss the dance." He is as big a Saints fan as I am. Last night, all I could do was imagine the party we would have been throwing last night with friends and family if we had been the ones who had gotten married.

I have decided to go get some type of sleep aid after work today. I have had a terrible time ALL week sleeping. I know I am stressed about family and lack of love in my life. But I have never gone a WHOLE week having like 10 hours of sleep total.

Tomorrow a few friends are going to a local pub here to see a band play. I may go with them if I can muster up enough sleep tonight to have the energy to go.

I get the Saints Football game Saturday evening and maybe a visit from A....

OK today is a new day for me. I went to dinner with T last night. We went shopping at target after dinner and then went and got ice cream. I am looking for a decorative or simplistic lock box medium sized to store recreational things in...I looked at Target, Big lots..I am almost thinking tool box format with out all the tray and pull outs. Any ideas???

A came over last night after I got hom. OMG~ I will have a smile on my face ALL day..hell maybe even all week. I wish things were different, our circumstances were different. We have such chemistry and it just ignites in HUGE sparks. We are so comfortable with each other, can talk about anything. It sucks all we can have is a friends with benefits relationship. HEy, if it's this good, guess I shoudl appreciate the little things that provide such intense pleasure.

I mean this weekend , I have in my attic throwing around moth balls in case a squirrel really has decide to camp out there. Trust me if I had too, i'd fall through the ceiling with my fat ass.

This one's for you Mick. I do enjoy my music. I loved working in the music store in college...

I am so looking forward to Saturday evening in the Superdome. My city will go ABSOLUTELY INSANE winning a playoff game. The football players really have an advantage with our fan support. They are INCREDIBLY devoted. Ya'll have no idea how LONG we have waited for a good season. We haven't been in the playoffs in YEARS. Last year was so tough with the team not having a building to practice in...or play in for that matter. The repair to the dome has helped. I looked at ticket prices. (The game tix sold out at home in less than an hour) the internet wants 2,500.00 each ticket for a good seat. OK, I'll be at my house Watching and SHOUTING and PRAYING....

Saints-Eagles Divisional Playoff Game to Be Played on Saturday at 7:00 pm CTDoug Miller, NewOrleansSaints.comJan 7, 2007 – 8:42 pm


The Saints' Divisional Playoff Game against the Philadelphia Eagles on January 13, 2007 will be played at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be televised by Fox Sports.
The Eagles defeated the New York Giants, 23-20, on a David Akers 38-yard field goal as time expired and advanced to the divisional round.
Saturday's match-up will mark the second time this season the Saints and Eagles will play, as the Saints defeated the Eagles 27-24 on October 15 at the Superdome.
The Chicago Bears will host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in the other NFC Divisional game. The winners will advance to the NFC Championship game the following Sunday (Jan. 21).
The Saints have several members of their team with strong connections to Philadelphia, including Head Coach Sean Payton, who was an assistant coach with the Eagles from 1997-1998. Additionally, starting middle linebacker Mark Simoneau and defensive tackle Hollis Thomas were with the Eagles just a year ago before being traded to the Saints. And guard Jahri Evans is a native of Philadelphia and starred north of Philly at Bloomsburg College. Saints LB Coach Joe Vitt was a coach with the Eagles from 1995-1998 and is a native of Blackwood, N.J., not far from Philly.
On the other side of the ball, wide receiver Donte Stallworth and defensive end Darren Howard are prominent Eagles with Saints ties. Those connection are sure to be re-visted this week and nearly every angle of the game will come into focus and be closely examined, as the NFL's eligible teams for Super Bowl contention has been pared to only eight teams.
Of interest this weekend in both conferences is the fact that all of the home teams were victorious, a trend Saints fans hopes continues at least through Saturday evening.

Fresh air~

This is my uncles land in Bama. I am SOOOOOO bummed he's selling. Ya'll I really have a desire for a few acres of land. I feel like it's in my blood. However, I HATE yard work...(I don't mind mowing)..but hate pulling weeds. SO how much sense am I making? I need a good ole' boy to tend to the land and I'll tend to the house..perhaps a log cabin. I can't tell you the fondness I feel when I drive into his place and just breath in the fresh air. It is so soothing. Okay, it's almost as good of a stress reliever to me as a good massage...Anybody with me???

The only good news this weekend was the Saints were off cause the clinched their division.

I talked to G last night. I don't think we'll go anywhere. He's got several unresolved issues, and I don't think I am the gal to "FIX" him. I swear men as such a pain in the ass!!!!

My aunt's funeral is in Fla this Wed. My uncle selling the land is driving here to get my aunt and they'll be driving there together. It's a good 10 hr drive. My peace is with knowing she is not in anymore pain.

Blogger has really PISSED me off the last couple of evenings. For some unknown reason it doesn't want me to post pics...I would think at dinner time most people who use blogger would be having dinner...not trying to up load photos---but what the hell do I know?

Feeling bad...i stopped at my aunt's house after school. I told her I heard a squirrel up in my attic last weekend. My cats were so perplexed looking up at the ceiling in my den. I have cathedral ceiling in it and I could here something scurrying..so could they. She insisted I put moth balls in the attic. She bought me 2 boxes. While I was there, my uncle in Fla called and his wife My mom and My aunts older sister died this afternoon. We anticipated it coming, but I don't think you are ever READY. I am asking God if he is trying to get a message to me ...I feel like my mom's family is SUFFERING so much in the last 2 months. My mom's condition (which it's been rough this last week for her), My uncle and his tummy ulcer and kidney stones (he's the one selling his incredible land near Montgomery---*SIGH*) and now my aunt passing.

Am I supposed to be savoring life's moments daily? But how can I if, I feel as though things are so fucked up right now?

It has been awhile since I was able to give you this description. I think I may be peaking at 36. I went to the local "shop" yesterday...all by myself...am I desperate, a dummy or brave? You tell me. I hear you Married people keep telling me it's not all that it's cracked up to be~ Perhaps I am just feeling ? I am kinda sleepy after watching most of the Sugarbowl last night, I crashed about midnight and hit snooze a dozen times. I need to sleep in...but going to bed and BEING able to sleep as I hit the pillow would help quite a bit. You know they say sex releases endorphins that will help you sleep. Am I sleep deprived because I am penis deprived?

My Favorite spots in the French Quarter...JAckson Square named after Andrew Jackson...I have the most beautiful church behind me Saint Louis Cathedral. I dream of getting married there once...and hope it will last forever.

The marriage aspect well, it won't be with the sheriff . As my informants tell me he has a girl he's been seeing. See my luck with MEN!!!

This is the entrance to the French Market---a high class flea market if you will. Nothing used except music~ jewelry, t-shirts, art work, prints, purses, sun glasses, etc. It's a great place to shop. It is right across from the Mississippi River......I bought lots of goodies while I was these 2 weeks ago.

Tonight is the SUGARBOWL!!! Notre Dame vs. LSU...GO LSU!!! The revelers are already in the quarter out celebrating and cooking like only CAJUN's know how to do. It's at the Superdome...kinda wish I were there~

When you get a minute check out BRADY QUINN---he's Notre Dames quarterback and HOT. YOUNG BUT HOT> I mean good size guys running around in tights chasing a ball. How do I get through the Spring WITH OUT football????

OK , I survived my first day back at work. HMMMMM

My buddy B and I met for lunch...first I snuck in and got another 1/2 hr massage...our principal gave us some extra time for lunch so I jumped on it!!! I wanted to see the same girl I saw last week, but unfortunately after I got there they told me she didn't come in today. The girl I got didn't compare oh well.


Well during lunch (my fav place closed for lunch today, so we were stuck going to Golden Corral)--a CUTE sheriff was in there with a buddy apparently. Well, I could not muster the nerve to go and talk to him. I am kicking myself now...He was just my type (no wedding ring)...Tall 6'1- 6'3. Football player size....I didn't get a name or a number so that I could be able to pick him out!!! HELP! I went to out Sheriff's web page here tyring to look for pics and well, they have several different divisions. What do I do???? GIVE ME FEEDBACK

I need to get my mind off of Greg and onto someone else..........

Ok well I am in the process of editing my post. I called the Sheriffs dept here...not once but three times. I spoke with a gal the first time and said"'One of your officers was so cordial to me today. He opened dorrs and was friendly and helpful. I wanted to call and tell him Thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name." One of my co teacher friends hubby worked at the Jail as an officer so he gave me a name I could at least ask for----knowing he wasn't at work, I was inquisitive with the girl that answered." I managed to get 2 names out of the description I gave...and called the office bak and talked to a guy there...he was kind. He said it sounded as I could be in the ballpark with the right names. I said "Well, I fouund him most curtious and wanted to say thank you personally. Both guys didn't work today~ he checked the roster. They will both be back Friday night at 8, and I could call then. They could have been moonlighting for extra cash and hence they were in uniform. SO where can I go from here????????

This is the Christmas Tree that Linda and I enjoyed while in the Quarter...I have lots of pics to post...several that are for BG exclusively!!1 Girly I thought of YOU as I took them. I know you now feel completely LOVED and adored!

Today, again I went shopping--Pier 1, Bed Bath and Beyond (I found 2 silk pillows for my new bedspread for 20 bucks--Yippee! ), Bath and Body, (I have fallen in love with a sparkle roll on scented Strawberries and Creme...they were 3 bucks each, so I went all out. They also have my Wallflowers- plug ins for 5 bucks...So I grabbed a few of the as well. YEP I AM TOTALLY BROKE~ but damn it I smell some kinda good.

SEE D and BG I had many a drink for your guys....This was a few hours into the evening~ Ok i'm pretty pissed off with G. He's totally blown me off the last 4 days. HE said he'd call...and didn't. So I called him. (I"M AN IDIOT) He said his daughter was sick again. I'm not sure if I believe him. He said how he's had 3 days off and doesn't wanna go back to work. He asked how I was --said I sounded "Down". I said I was fine. I wanted to jump his shit...but why. I mean we have no commitment, not sure I can see a future with him....wondering why I am feeling so controlling...or wanting to control his time. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME???
