LAST WILL

"Last night my sister and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life at all, If that ever happens, just pull the plug.' So she got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine. She's such a bitch!" Maxine
The concert was great! Jake is such a HOttie!!! He has a hit "YEE HAW" and closed the show with it and a young girl from the audience, she must be 5 yrs old. It was the cutest thing to hear her sing yee haw for the audience.
Sugarland was awesome. I wish I had Jennifer Nettles energy and her voice. She has a set of lungs on her. They did a couple of cover tunes that surprised me...They closed the show with all 3 acts coming out.
Well unfortunately, I have a sinus head from the depths of hell. I was miserable last night and this morning. I am taking meds...but tonight is our school Christmas party and the 6th grade teachers are the one catering.SO i spent a couple of hours yesterday cooking 4 pots of jambalaya--chicken, shrimp and sausage.....R is coming with me which really excites me.
He finally decided he doesn't want to see other people.... = ) Ya'll I really dig him.
I feel like I get to show him off!!!!! Did I tell you Auburn University called him and he has an interview set up early January?? I'm excited for him because it will be a step up and more money and a more prestigious college. On the down side, I am not sure what that means as far as travel time...it's a 40 minute drive over there and if it's 5 days a week, it will get old soon.

Thank God it's Friday and that I get to leave work in an hour....AMEN AMEN AMEN

I have a busy day tomorrow. I have a hair appointment at 11:00--- I am soooooooo NOT a morning person. I need to be able to SLEEP in til noon. At least I do not want to have to function (i.e. put on makeup and leave the house) before 10:30. I do however need to get my highlights take care of again--It has been 2 months ok..maybe 3. I am debating on a few colors. I usually go copper and blonde...because my hair is a light brown. I have considered a copper and a darker brown. I usually go pretty safe when it comes to hair. After all, in high school I did dye it every color possible....blonde, black, blue black (gothic look), red...all but green.

LSU play Tennessee in a very important game tomorrow afternoon. (Hence I made the hair appt early) Then I made reservations at my favorite place The Market for tomorrow night. I am taking the professor there..as we met a month ago tomorrow. WOW~ it seems like it has been longer. I hope that is a good sign.
Sunday my SAINTS play Tampa Bay in another really big game. WE NEED to win this one!!!!!

Tonight, Reagan wants me to go to a college basketball game with him tonight. I am not a basketball fan at all. I said no last night , but figured I should change my mind today.

We'll talk about Romeo tomorrow. I have seen him 2 days in a row.

This is what LSU was serving as they played against Fla this evening. It was a hell of a game! I mean WOW. Back and forth and I really enjoyed each quarter.....I love my football!!!!

Now if Only My SAINTS can provide the same sort of stamina tomorrow against Carolina.

Whew, I feel like I could sit here and type for an hour (i'm not that fast, it would take an hour) . But....since my day did not lend itself to me the way I had planned, I wanna just send a shout out and say hello.

Direct TV came yesterday after 3 phone calls on my part...they guy got here about 6:30 when they said he'd be here between 1-5. I was in a fussy mood after wasting all of my Sat waiting here. Well by 9:30 last night he tells me he will have to come back tomorrow. Hence, he got here at 9:30 this morning and left about 1:00. So much for me sleeping in on Sunday. Anyway, the short of it is, I now have Direct Tv NFL package and will be able to see every SAINTS game as the season start this week. Preseason is over.

The SEC did really well this weekend. LSU beat Miss St 45-0. ALabama , Auburn, Georgia, and Florida all won.

I still have pics of B n D to post from last weekend. I am so behing when it comes to blogging.
Romeo came over this morning and spent 6 hours here. I wish he'd split with the misses. Better yet, I just wish she would split with him.

To direct Tv I go.....
YIPPIEEEE I have tomorrow off!!!!!!!
Wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Yes, here I am. I waited around ALL damn day for Direct Tv people to show up. I even called to make sure they were coming. My appt time was between 1-5. Well, at 4:45 a guy shows up and we spend 15 minutes outside attempting to find a good place for the dish to actually go that he and I can agree on. He was a sweet kid...but truly a kid. He tells me this is his first week out in a truck by himself. Gotta tell you that made me a bit nervous. Well, he gets inside and brings 3 boxes. Turns out they didn;t get the order right. He spent an hour on the phone---most of it on hold mind you. Then I spent 30 minutes trying to straighten things out. Lets just say after LOTS OF PATIENCE on MY PART. They have to come back with the right equipment and they can't do that for 2 MORE weeks. I called and got rid of everything but basic from Media com yesterday...telling myself I would 250 channels with Direct. Well NO SAINTS GAME for me tonight, or NEXT weekend.

I'm pissed off.

My thoughts for the day. She really does scare me. Lock her up in a pit with Michael Vick and let her chew on him for a bit. I really hope they convict that SOB.

My feet hurt. My mind is torturing me with thoughts of going back to work. I almost think a year round school might be better. I would work 10 weeks and get 3 off. At least this way I could actually take a vacation during fall and enjoy the cooler weather. And ya'll after 2 months off....for me being able to stay up late and not have to get up for an alarm. sniff sniff, I'm in pain just typing this~

I have 3 days til work starts again. *SIGH* It's not the kids I mind so much, its a few of the people I work with and all the b.s. paperwork we have to do.
Tomorrow, I go to get pampered with a massage and a facial. It will only run me 40 bucks. The school that I go to only opens weekdays...so I can't go back until Thanksgiving break. *SIGH*

I went shopping tonight to a new cosmetic store--ULTA -- they have Redken, Biolage, Vera Wang, Dolce perfume...and I am so proud. I didn't buy a thing!!!! (trust me this was an amazing feat)

I did go to Sam's earlier with a friend and bought a fan for my classroom. I also went to Lane Bryant and bought a top...comments???

I get more compliments from people when I am in blue....than any other color. I tend to like earth tones.(dark greens, plum, rust, chocolate and of course black)..but society seems to like me in deep blues. Hence, I am trying to make myself look better. After all, I am in search for my PRINCE.

MY SAINTS HAVE THEIR FIRST PRESEASON GAME THIS SUNDAY NIGHT AGAINST THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS.
GO SAINTS!!!!!!!!!

Wide recievers on the field and matters of the heart

Well...I got *bummer* news about my FAVORITE New Orleans Saint. Joe Horn #87, was released (he missed 7 games with a groin injury). He signed for 4 yrs with Atlanta Falcons our ARCH rival. I need to do some research and find out who's STUPID idea it was to let him go. HE has done sooooooooo much for the families in New Orleans after Katrina hit.

I'm sitting peacefully in my classroom knowing I get kids in 20 minutes....for the rest of the day. I have 3 detentions today MEOW> <>

We had IB open house last night, so I am fairing on about 5 hours of sleep. Again, MEOW. Yesterday I thought I would just lose it at work in tears, today, I am too damn tired to cry. I just want my bed a kitty, a cool fan blowing and a soft , ok luxurious pillow and pillow case to hug. OH alright, you got it out of me a really cute guy to snuggle up with.

QUESTION : What are your top 3 FAVORITE *LOVE* songs?

I think I'd have to go with:

#1 George Strait's "Cross My Heart"--I still tear up when I see Pure Country and he sits down at the end of the stage and sing acoustic. It's simplistic and romantic.

#2 "Faithfully" by Journey. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steve Perry. I wish he'd share that soulful voivce with us again.
#3 "I will always love you" Whitney Houston and 'Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong would tie/. Whitney..well they song says it all. Louis, I think It would be a WONDERFUL WORLD if everyone had their soulmate and stopped to smell the roses every chance they got. No more rushing around, road rage and hate for people who didn't live up to our expectations or vice versa~

Who Dat? (Nawlins term for Saints fans)

Just a few more days...Saints vs. Bears Sunday 2:00 eastern

Superbowl Bound!

To all my Saints lovers and Haters...............

Twas the night before WHO DAT.
> > > >Twas the night before WHO DAT when all through the south only screams could be heard from Tony Romo's mouth, The Saints played superior and it was not fair, A game that was perfect enough to frighten the Bears, The Cowboys were beaten and now are in the red While visions of Super Bowl danced in Benson's head, Payton in his visor, and Gibbs in his white cap Had just called a defense sure to produce a sack, when out on the field there arose such a clatter Fujita sprang from the bench to see what was the matter, Straight to the quarterback, Will Smith flew like a flash Right through the line and put Romo on
his ass!

The ball came out and what do ya know It ends up in the hands of number ninety-fo, Grant rumbled and stumbled into the End Zone To help came on Carney for a point of his own, A trip to the Super Bowl is better than a check from FEMA Finally everyone can try to forget Katrina!

Relocated, flooded, and put to shame The Saints have recovered and brought back WHO DAT fame, "It was Bush, and Colston, Horn, and Brees too And don't forget that boy Devery who played at LSU! The crowd came together with one big cheer from all. "WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS"

> > >Now hand us that Tiffany silver football!

Oh when the Saints go marching In......

I am so looking forward to Saturday evening in the Superdome. My city will go ABSOLUTELY INSANE winning a playoff game. The football players really have an advantage with our fan support. They are INCREDIBLY devoted. Ya'll have no idea how LONG we have waited for a good season. We haven't been in the playoffs in YEARS. Last year was so tough with the team not having a building to practice in...or play in for that matter. The repair to the dome has helped. I looked at ticket prices. (The game tix sold out at home in less than an hour) the internet wants 2,500.00 each ticket for a good seat. OK, I'll be at my house Watching and SHOUTING and PRAYING....

GO LSU!!

My Favorite spots in the French Quarter...JAckson Square named after Andrew Jackson...I have the most beautiful church behind me Saint Louis Cathedral. I dream of getting married there once...and hope it will last forever.

The marriage aspect well, it won't be with the sheriff . As my informants tell me he has a girl he's been seeing. See my luck with MEN!!!

This is the entrance to the French Market---a high class flea market if you will. Nothing used except music~ jewelry, t-shirts, art work, prints, purses, sun glasses, etc. It's a great place to shop. It is right across from the Mississippi River......I bought lots of goodies while I was these 2 weeks ago.
Tonight is the SUGARBOWL!!! Notre Dame vs. LSU...GO LSU!!! The revelers are already in the quarter out celebrating and cooking like only CAJUN's know how to do. It's at the Superdome...kinda wish I were there~

When you get a minute check out BRADY QUINN---he's Notre Dames quarterback and HOT. YOUNG BUT HOT> I mean good size guys running around in tights chasing a ball. How do I get through the Spring WITH OUT football????
This was my LUCKY HAT, that I bougt while I was home.
Amazing how many comments I got that night~ Go SAINTS
I LOVE my fleur De Lis~~~~their like Cheese...i'll take it on anything!
